What the result means

A known subtotal is only the sum of the quoted items you entered. An unknown item makes the complete cost unresolved. Even when both subtotals are complete within the entered worksheet, an arithmetic difference does not establish clinical equivalence, coverage or the best choice.

The fictional example has a $580 known subtotal for A with an unknown review; B totals $610 with review entered. No saving is established until A's missing charge is resolved.
