Study: Queen's University's Canadian CENTAURUS protocol comparing rosuvastatin and atorvastatin after acute coronary syndrome. 12

Design and measurements: The phase IV registry records 18 actual participants. Its narrative describes early rosuvastatin 20 mg, delayed rosuvastatin 20 mg, and delayed atorvastatin 80 mg, using a short admission phase followed by three months of treatment. The primary comparison concerned the ApoB/ApoA ratio at 12 weeks; LDL cholesterol and inflammatory markers were additional measurements. The structured two-arm summary compresses the three-group narrative. 12

What is established: The record is completed, with a March 2016 update. No numerical lipid or clinical-event result was verified for this registration. Results from a larger similarly named program or the separate LUNAR trial cannot automatically be assigned to these 18 participants. 12
