NCT00148993 is a phase 1/2 study of allogeneic tumor-cell vaccination in patients with solid tumors. Hadassah Medical Organization proposed using tumor-cell lines sharing major histocompatibility determinants with each patient, with the aim of stimulating an antitumor immune response. Eligible patients included those with measurable metastatic disease, chemotherapy-resistant disease, or minimal residual disease at high relapse risk. 12

The design was open-label and single-group, with 100 anticipated participants. The inspected record, last updated in April 2011, labels the study withdrawn; its enrollment figure must not be treated as a treated population. 12

No verified tumor-response or survival results were recovered. The study number is identifiable, but the immunological rationale and planned sample do not demonstrate that the vaccine works. Combining vaccine approaches with other immune-modifying agents was a proposed research aim, not established clinical benefit. 12
