Study: Integrating quality-of-life diagnostics and treatment recommendations into breast-cancer care through the Regensburg Tumor Center. 12
Methods and reported observations: The narrative describes 170 patients and 170 quality-of-life reports, five clinics, and 38 coordinating physicians. A separate structured enrollment field lists 190, so the denominators should not be silently equated. EORTC QLQ-C30/BR23 assessments informed multidisciplinary recommendations and repeat assessment. The narrative reports that all 38 physicians found the profiles understandable and the recommendations clinically relevant; frequently identified problems concerned emotional functioning, fatigue, and arm/shoulder symptoms. 12
Interpretation: These are implementation and acceptability observations from an observational care pathway. They do not establish a randomized improvement in quality of life or survival. The historical record is completed. 12
